Fu received the decoration on December 26th, 1946 in recognition of his exceptional military merit and leadership in resisting foreign aggression, most notably for his successful campaigns in defending Suiyuan Province against Japanese forces in the 1930s and during the Second Sino-Japanese War."

"General He Yingqin was awarded the Order of National Glory by the Republic of China, the highest military decoration in the ROC. The order was awarded on March 11th, 1997, to recognize exceptional merit in safeguarding the nation and resisting foreign aggression. He was recognized for his monumental role as the Chief of Staff of the Nationalist Army and a primary architect of China's military strategy during the Second Sino-Japanese War. Notably, it was General He who officially accepted the Japanese Instrument of Surrender in Nanjing on September 9, 1945, on behalf of Chiang Kai-shek.

"Squadron Commander Airiev especially distinguished himself during the defeat of the enemy's Taman grouping and the liberation of Donbass.  On his combat account, there were 12 enemy aircraft, 12 tanks, 150 vehicles, 20 artillery pieces, 10 dugouts, 3 crossings.  By the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of April 13, 1944, for the exemplary performance of the combat missions of the command on the front of the struggle against the Nazi invaders and the courage and heroism shown at the same time, Captain Airiev Armen Tevanovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union with the award of the Order of Lenin."
