"Fu Zuoyi was awarded the Order of National Glory, it is the highest military decoration in the ROC. Fu received the decoration on December 26th, 1946 in recognition of his exceptional military merit and leadership in resisting foreign aggression, most notably for his successful campaigns in defending Suiyuan Province against Japanese forces in the 1930s and during the Second Sino-Japanese War."
