"Eat the Reich"

So watching all of the twisted things I do watch on the YouTube, I discovered a new Weird WWII RPG, "Eat the Reich!!" It sees some crack Allied vamps dropping in occupied France with a mission to suck ol' Uncle Adolf dry!!! I mean, I dig seeing vamps chomping on the followers of the crooked cross and it looks like this allows ya to do so in spades! Give it a go and see what its all about!

Keep it weird and suck!

"NecroMech"

"NecroMech is a Dark Fantasy Role-Playing Game in a Post WW2 Alternate History Setting; one in which the world has been irrevocably altered by the “Rip”, a catastrophic event triggered by the dropping of the atomic bombs on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.  Conjoined with a hellish Otherside our heroes and villains, using newly awakened or graft-stimulated psychic talents, fight for survival and power.  For some the creatures released into the Wastes of what was once Japan must be destroyed while for others they are the source of that power...
For players there is opportunity for in-depth roleplaying, perhaps utilizing their psychic talents as part of a broader tradecraft skill set, as they penetrate layers of intrigue in London and Paris.  The story then leading them on an adventuring mission traversing the chaos in Germany, down into the subterranean passages beneath Wewelsburg Castle, and then on to the Otherside.  But making it to the Ash Curtain across the Wastes may require a more strategic approach utilizing organized forces to counter the vast number of Othersiders that bar the way, and what will await them as they eventually cross to the Otherside and stumble into the horrifying Fleshworks?"  Give it a looks see and see what you think.

Looks pretty artsy,
Brian

"War in Tokyo"

"In 1945 Japan did not surrender.  The Allies push hard to bring an end to World War II.  What ends is nuclear fallout in Tokyo.  With civil unrest across the globe, the Allies send special teams into radiated Tokyo to find the Japanese Army and its government to secure surrender and bring an end to World War II.  The story to War in Tokyo uses the reality that during a time of war, technology advances at a faster pace than in a time of peace.  Using the powerful D20, Antics are releasing the BETA mechanic for the War in Tokyo wargame.  The Hunting Pack is an rpg tabletop wargame, so what a troop finds, hacks, kills or knocks out affects them after the skirmish and any later skirmishes; that trooper may even level up and find new specialties to branch out into, the decision is yours...  Controlling four units to begin with, players will embark on a journey to find the hiding Japanese government (Allied Forces), stop the Allied invasion (Japanese Forces), or assist the army that pays the most (Mercs), to bring an end to the war.  Which side are you on?"  Give it a go here!

Sounds interesting!

Sixcess Goes WEIRD!!!

"They came from a clear sky, without warning.  Black parachutes floating serenely from a sky devoid of aircraft.  It was the last serene day we’d ever experience.  We were invaded, from another dimension, by Nazis!  Invaders from a universe where the Nazis didn’t lose WWII.  The Invasion of the Fourth Reich mini-setting / adventure provides the setup for a one-shot, short series or ongoing campaign in a world invaded by Nazis from another dimension.  The setting is the Core World (the Earth you live in) with dimensional portals allowing travel to and from Erde – the Earth ruled by the German Fourth Reich."  Now, I have never heard of Sixcess but they are making a Weird WWII supplement to their systems so be sure to check it out and see what its about.

Sounds interesting,
Brian

"4th Reich: Puremen vs. the Mutants for Control of the World" & "The Iron Dream"

"4th Reich: Puremen vs. the Mutants for Control of the World is a somewhat obscure wargame by Task Force Games based on the SF-novel "The Iron Dream" by the Jewish author Norman Spinrad.  This very controversial novel describes a parallel world in which Hitler wasn't successful with his "Kampf" in Germany and became a successful SF-pulp-novelist in the US.  The main part of the book is the actual text of Hitler's "Iron Dream", a pulp-tale about "Ubermenschen" conquering a future world filled with mutant "scum."  The idea of Spinrad's novel was to expose fascist tendencies in 50's American literature.  The TFG designers transported this "theme" into a board game which plays like a wargame: future Nazis against future mutants.  The names of all protagonists have been changed in an apparent attempt to avoid infringement, but the game clearly takes its slightly tongue-in-cheek approach directly from the book."
