"The National Lampoon Encyclopedia of Humor"

"The National Lampoon Encyclopedia of Humor is a landmark American satire book first published in 1973 as a special, standalone newsstand edition of the famous National Lampoon magazine. Edited by legendary comedy writer Michael O'Donoghue, the book consists entirely of all-new, original material organized alphabetically from A to Z, mimicking the structure of a traditional encyclopedia to mock wide-ranging facets of culture, history, and society." So that was the Internet's summary of this epic title but mine is that it has some of the best Weird WWII humor ever within it's pagers like "Cowgirls at War" and "Battling Buses of WWII"! This is a hard one to find but I did, so read some of the best from National Lampoon here.

"Hello Buddies"

These one page comics are pretty fun with most dealing with service folks and those around them in all sorts of funny situations. Give them a read here and see what the troops were reading in the trenches.
