Lieutenant Colonel, commander of the 739th Infantry Regiment of the 213th Infantry Division. Awarded the Order of the Red Banner and for personal valor during the crossing of the Dnieper, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 26, 1943, Alexander Alexandrovich was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union."
