Five friends take different paths when war comes to their homeland but vow to return to Berlin when its all over. Will they survive to honor that vow or will they be consumed by the war? This is an interesting mini-series that gives a unique point of view of all these folks and how they managed and fought through the war that all but destroyed their generation.
Its worth a viewing,
