"Born in 1909 in Ukraine. Major of the Guards, commander of an air squadron of the 143rd Guards Assault Aviation Regiment of the 8th Guards Assault Aviation Division. He was awarded two Orders of the Red Banner and the Order of Alexander Nevsky. For heroism in battles on the territory of Poland, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 27, 1945, Major Grishko Kirill Emelyanovich was posthumously awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union."
