He was awarded medals "For Courage" and "For the Defense of Stalingrad". For the valor shown during the construction of a bridge across the Sozh River in the Novotereshkovichi region. By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of January 15, 1944, Sergeant Abdurakhmanov Uzeir was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union. After the war, he settled in the city of Navoi."
