"1942"

A small group of Japanese soldiers are lost in the Malaysian jungle after an enemy artillery barrage separates then from their unit.  The men, along with an Army photographer, head off to rejoin their comrades to only find that they are getting more and more lost in a jungle that seems to want to keep them from escaping.  And if the situation wasn't bad enough, the cameraman clams to witness what looks to be a shadowy figure following them in his viewfinder.  Can these men find their way back to their lines or will they be swallowed up by the labyrinthine-like jungle or from the thing that shadows their every step?  This Singaporean low budget weird WWII flick isn't so bad.  Its got some creepy visuals and a lot of heart.  Watched it online but it looks like it might have been taken down so you might check around for the DVD.  Check out the trailer and see what you think.

Nothing worse then those damned Asian girl ghosts,
Brian
