A German U-Boat crew is set out on its next mission with a combat photographer to document their life aboard the sub. Will the captain and crew survive the turning of the war in the Atlantic or will they join so many of their fellow seaman at the bottom of the sea? This is, in my opinion, the best WWII flick ever. It really makes you fell, hear, smell and taste the hell of being a German submariner in WWII. Check out the trailer and see what you think. This is a German tv show that is loosely based on the award winning film. It goes more in dept in the war and the characters with a story line of resistance fighters black mailing naval personnel, the gestapo agents looking for them, a U-Boat mutiny and other stuff. It isn't half bad but the writing is a bit lax at times. Give it a go and see what you think.
