After being evacuated from London during the Blitz, a group of children stumble into a new world and are thrust into its conflicts in which they participate. This series of books are your average kid fantasy books in my opinion. I read them as a kid and then watched the movies which aren't too bad. Check out the books at your local library, if one exist, and check out the movie trailer below and see what you think.
Worth a once over if your into fantasy stuff,
