Well, just finished this epic WWII mini-series on HBO. It follows the exploits of Easy Company, 506th of the 101st Airborne Division. It follows this company from the air drops on D-Day to the occupation of Germany after the war. This is am amazing series that is in my opinion one of the finest and realistic WWII flicks I have ever seen. It is also begun with some insight of the actual men of the unit and the hell and camaraderie that they experienced in their days as airborne during the war.
Give it a go, it's amazing!
Be sure to watch History Buffs' take on the historical accuracy of the flick below.
Above is the story of the real men and their exploits that the show emulate. Its a great insight to the horror and comradery that war creates.
