A German POW finds himself in the service of a British shopkeeper who discovers he is a great goalie and decides to use him in his amateur soccer team. Will his love soccer be his downfall or will he find a new life with his wartime enemies? This is a pretty good flick that tells the real life story of Bert Trautmann who would become a fan favorite.
