One of my favorite comic artists of all time died today. Russ Heath's Sgt. Rock will always be my all time favorite comics ever! You will truly be missed but you live on in all the art you leave behind.
I have to agree with you. No one did Sgt. Rock like Russ Heath. I still have my copy of "A Brittle Harvest" and the one with bloody flag...an one with the Iron Handed German Major. His work was the best.
