"Born in 1922 in the village of Shumikha, Kemerovo regionIn the Red Army since December 1941. Sniper of the 849th Infantry Regiment of the 303rd Infantry Division, 3rd Tank Army, Voronezh Front), Corporal Ivan Abdulov, killed two hundred and ninety-eight Nazis in defensive battles, including five snipers and eleven officers.  He trained twenty-seven people to be snipers.  On March 11, 1943, in the area of ​​the city of Lyubotin, Kharkov region, being surrounded, the brave sniper replaced the wounded commander.  He knocked out two tanks with anti-tank grenades.  He died a heroic death in this battle and was awarded the Hero of the Soviet Union.
