"Born in 1925 in the village of Tashtak near the city of Osh, Kyrgyzstan. He was drafted into the Soviet Army in 1942. Sergeant, gun crew commander of the 685th Infantry Regiment of the 193rd Infantry Division. For heroism during the crossing of the Dnieper, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 30, 1943, Sergeant Dzhumabaev Toshmamat was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union."
