Russia. He was drafted into the
Soviet Army in 1941 by the Leninsky district military commissariat of the city of Tashkent.

5th Guards Rifle Division. He was awarded the
Order of the Patriotic War II degree and the
Order of Glory III degree, the medal "For Courage". For courage in battles, by the decree of the
Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of June 29, 1945, the foreman Stepan Pavlovich Dadaev was awarded the title of
Hero of the Soviet Union."
