A group of desperate prisoners escape from a Soviet Gulag in hopes of walking through the 4000 miles of inhospitable terrain and its hostile populace to freedom in far off India. Can this group of desperate people succeed or will they parish in the hostile land of their captors? I never heard of this film before I watched it and I was very pleased with it in the end. Its a brutal story of survival in just about the worst place on Earth under the worst circumstances possible. I also found out that it was probably based on a true story too! It is amazing to think of what man can do if he has the will to do it. Check out the trailer and see what you think.
