He was awarded the Orders of the Red Banner and the Red Star. For the heroism shown during the Great Patriotic War, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 4, 1944, Senior Lieutenant Evel Samuilovich Belyavin was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union."
