"Before leaving for the army in 1938, he lived and studied in the city of Tashkent. Guards Senior Lieutenant, deputy squadron commander of the 80th Guards Bomber Aviation Regiment. He was awarded the Orders of the Red Banner and the Red Star.
For the heroism shown during the Great Patriotic War, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of February 4, 1944, Senior Lieutenant Evel Samuilovich Belyavin was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union."
