For the courage shown during the crossing of the Dnieper, by the decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of October 17, 1943, Mikhail Vladimirovich Akhmedov was awarded the title of Hero of the Soviet Union and the Order of Lenin."
