This 1946 flick is the first film to tell of the desperate fight for Arnhem. The sound, special effects and acting is for shit but this is a fucking great flick! The actors are all 1st para boys, using both real Brit and German kit, weapons and tanks all set in the actual devastated town of Arnhem itself! To see REAL Panthers and Tigers go up against REAL 6-Pounders, PIATs and those stalwart Brits is something to behold! Take a gander at a forgotten WWII masterpiece below.
A Bridge Two Far is great but this is just too real to miss,
