Princess Diana Troy of Paradise Island is sent to America to fight for freedom during the dark days of WWII. Acting as a mild-mannered secretary for Maj. Trevor, she fights for all man-kind and woman-kind alike, against the Axis and all other manners of evil! The first season of this TV show is the only one set in WWII and is my favorite by far. The show is cheesy but a lot of fun and is a lot like Marsten's original scripts for WW's Golden Age tales. I also think Linda Carter is about the best casting for WW as well.
