"Splitter" Warhead

Notes:  The panzerfaust is a man-portable anti-tank rocket launcher.  The panzerfaust comes in several models and is made in large numbers to give the German infantryman an edge against the Allies' tank numerical superiority.  Be sure to pick up the Battleground WWII core rules book to get the most outta these rules.
Date Introduced:  Panzerfaust Klein (Mid '43), Panzerfaust 30 Gross (Mid '43), Panzerfaust 60 (Late '43), Panzerfaust 100 (Late '44), Panzerfaust 150 (Mid '45) & Panzerfaust 250 (Late '45)
Users:  These rules are for panzerfaust models officially issued to German units.
Crew:  All models of the panzerfaust has a crew of one.
Re-Loadable Models:  The Panzerfaust 150 and 250 are able to reload a rocket into the launcher.  All the other panzerfaust models are single-shot disposable weapons.  It take the gunner a single action to reload a panzerfaust.  Most gunners using a panzerfaust that is able to be reloaded will wear a backpack with up to 4 rockets in it as basic issue.
Splitter Rocket:  The Splitter rocket is an anti-personnel rocket that acts similar to that of a fragmentation grenade.  The rocket is fitted with a fragmentation sleeve over the blasting charge which causes a large amount of shrapnel as it explodes.  The Splitter is only available to the Panzerfaust 250 and will fire just like the HEAT rocket with the exception that it has a reduced AP but more powerful explosive and shrapnel blast range.  The warhead uses all the rings within the Small HE template.  Availability is a 15 with D10 rockets available per launcher.
Rocket Back Blast:  All models of the panzerfaust produced a dangerous back blast when fired as the rocket it propelled to its target.  When a panzerfaust of any model fires, it will produce a back blast 2" long and 1" wide directly out from the rear of the weapon.  Anyone caught in the first inch will suffer a C column hit and the second inch will cause a E column hit.  In addition to the hit, the blast will force any non-enhanced troops to fall prone as if in a blast.  Because of the weapon's back blast, it is not capable of being fired from within an enclosed space unless the rear of the weapon has at least 10" of unobstructed open space for the back blast to dissipate within.  Firing any model of panzerfaust within an enclosed space will cause the gunner as well as anyone else within the space to suffer from a B column hit.  The back blast is considerable and will cause a -7 to any Awareness Checks and a -2 to any Sighting Checks against troops firing it.
Captured Use:  The panzerfaust was so simple to use that even civilians with very little training could fire one.  Due to its ease of use, the Captured Use penalty is reduced to +1 instead of the normal +3.
Panzerfaust Klein:  The Panzerfaust Klein fires a HEAT rocket that has an AP of 31 and will produce a Small HE template minus the E ring.  Use the normal To Hit rules found in the main rules.
Panzerfaust 30 Gross:  The Panzerfaust 30 Gross fires a HEAT rocket that has an AP of 39 and will produce a Small HE template minus the E ring.  The weapon also causes a -2 to the Effects result.  Use the normal To Hit rules found in the main rules.
Panzerfaust 60:  The Panzerfaust 60 fires a HEAT rocket that has an AP of 46 and will produce a Medium HE template minus the G ring.  The rocket also causes a -2 to the Effects result.  Use the normal To Hit rules found in the main rules.
Panzerfaust 100:  The Panzerfaust 100 fires a HEAT rocket that has an AP of 46 and will produce a Medium HE template minus the G ring.  The rocket also causes a -2 to the Effects result.  Use the normal To Hit rules found in the main rules.
Panzerfaust 150:  The Panzerfaust 150 fires a HEAT rocket that has an AP of 53 and will produce a Medium HE template minus the G ring.  The rocket also causes a -2 to the Effects result.  Use the normal To Hit rules found in the main rules.
Panzerfaust 250:  The Panzerfaust 250 fires a HEAT or Splitter rocket.  The HEAT rocket has an AP of 53 and will produce a Medium HE template minus the G ring where as the Splitter rocket has an AP of 2 with a Medium HE template.  The rocket also causes a -2 to the Effects result.  The Panzerfaust 250 has double the range as the Panzerfaust 150 so just double the normal To Hit rules found in the main rules for this weapon.
Wargaming Piece:  Most WWII and Weird WWII mini lines carry some sort of panzerfaust in their catalog so just do some research on your favorite and see what they got.  The Panzerfaust 150 and 250 might be a bit more hard to find but I know What The?! Miniatures has a 150 and a 250 wouldn't take much to convert so see what ya can do.  If you do some converting let us take a look at your handy work.
