Swank is another men's mag that started out as a men's pulp mag but then progressed into a hardcore magazine format.  Although not using the talent of pulp illustrators as other magazines did, Swank had all the same great articles and fiction within.  Bruce Friedman and Mario Puzo are just a couple of the famous writers that wrote for this trash mag before they made it big.  Another interesting tidbit is that Swank was published by Mark Goodman who is the creator of Marvel Comics!  As an early men's pulp mag it isn't bad but I think its run as a porn mag was its golden age, especially in the 80s!  Ahh, yeah!
