"Light Brigade"

This 4 issue comic book mini-series published by DC Comics is by far my favorite comic within the Weird WWII genera.  It tells the story of a group of GIs who stumble onto a full blown war between the righteous and fallen angles and their ilk all the while fighting their own war against the Nazis.  Peter Tomasi’s writing is great and makes you believe the possibility of such a conflict set in a realistic war setting.  Peter Snejbjerg’s art is historically accurate,  riveting and really adds a whole new level of realism to the book.  So if you are looking for an ass-kicking, faith-shaking and all around great WWWII comic then this is a must.  Read it here.
