Well Dad's army is a British treasure! The story follows the misadventures of a group of Home Guard who are chomping at the bit to give what for to the Huns but are held back in reserve for obvious reasons. This movie turned tv and radio show is a lot of fun and makes light of the dark days of WWII but always keeps that British pride well intact. Give it a go and have a good time.

I finally got to see this and it is pretty mediocre. Now, I haven't seen all the episodes and listened to all the radio shows but this flick kinda misses the whole feel of the original.
Oh well, what do I know.
