Real Weird WWII: "If Day"

Nazi troops arrest the major and other officials of Winnipeg's government.

I just learned of a fantastic propaganda event that took place in Canada in 1942 in which the city of Winnipeg was occupied by Nazi forces.  Swing over here and read about this unique war bond drive that convinced the folks of Winnipeg to by over 3 million bucks worth of war bonds in a single day.  Here is a short history of it from a Canadian documentary.

Now that sounds better then any Shakespeare in the park that I've ever heard of,
